Hard words

Oi!

It's me, Bella, and I've noticed that some of the words I have used in posts about language are hard to understand. So here I've put up hard words that I used and the definitions.
Enjoy!

Dialect-  A dialect is a different version of a language. It is still the same language, but there are some different words and different accents. E.g., British English and American English are different dialects of English.

Fluent- Fluent is when you speak a language perfectly and it is your first language.

Endangered- Endangered is when something is close to disappearing.
In this case, it's languages.

Polyglot-  A polyglot is a person who speaks many languages.

Indo-European- is a language family in Europe. It contains most of the languages spoken in Europe.

Atlantic-European People- Are the people from countries in Europe that border the Atlantic ocean, like Spain.
